This impressive outdoor education center features a terrarium and twelve aquarium tanks displaying an encompassing array of Nebraska plant, fish, reptile and amphibian species to visitors of all ages. Exhibited species include Leopard Frogs, Walleye, Shovelnose Sturgeon, Tiger Salamander and Albino Catfish to name a few. This educational aquarium is located nine miles south of the town of Gretna inside beautiful Schramm Park State Recreation Area, offering nature trails, wildflowers, the lovely Canyon Ponds as well as the Gretna Fish Hatchery Museum to aquarium visitors as well.
